As stated in this previous post, it didn't matter which was being used CBL. Also again thx for emailing it to me.

Minor problem i've been having that i guess isn't specifically to do with the roster but i've never had it before and it has cropped up since i started using the roster.

Everytime i manage a game, the place where the picture of the ballpark is supposed to be is completely black. You can see the players but there is no ballpark background!

If anyone could help me fix this I would sincerely appreciate it!

Thanks in advance for any help!
I have the same problem, anybody find a solution/work around?

Any idea about this problem ? :

As you can see, the background where usually there's the picture of the stadium is gray .
Any idea ? It didn't happened with any of my other leagues.
Thanks !

Mine does exactly the same as yours Gavyl. Only a minor point but is a bit annoying!

Anybody any luck sorting it?

I haven't used this quickstart, but I'm guesssing that CBL did not include stadium images. In the location path for each team (under team options and then stadium), there may be something there, i.e. reds.jpg. However, if you don't have any stadium images downloaded, that is probably the screen you get. Even if you do have images downloaded, then you may have a different filename for them i.e. cincy.jpg. That is just a guess, though.

You have to edit ball park picture. I believe the game was set up with a default picture address of CBL's files. I changed all my picture addresses and all works fine now. You have to list both DAY and Night pictures. If not you will get a blank screen for the one you did not change(day or night, depending on game time). You can you the same picture for day or night, you just have to list it twice. You can edit in game from team home screen options. Same screen as team colors and uniforms. There is an edit stadium option.

Hey, thanks for the help and sorry for replying just now.
I looked for this menu - but no luck. Can't find a place to change the file name. Inside the "Edit team colors, unifroms ..." there's no place to change stuff about the stadium .

Help ?

EDIT - Nevermind, found it

Just a quicky.
I played out all of spring training with this Mod. Lovely set indeed, BUT
the schedule is a smaller problem.

The last day of Spring Training has it compined with The regular season.
Several team play double-headers.
Dodgers play their last Spring Training Game in Atlanta at local 1pm, then must hurry back to the west coast to play home at 6pm in their season opening game.
Thatīs what I call a TOUGH schedule !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Many teams have this problem and since I havenīt played that day yet I donīt know whatīs going to happend.
Have anyone got this problem.... ?????????????

when I created the set, I turned off 40 man roster. After I made all of the changes, I enabled it once again. If you sim a few days the cpu teams will start putting players on the 40 man.

So I haven't read any of the thread so if this question has already been asked, I apologize. I downloaded the set and am using it with OOTP 2007 and I've ran into a problem. For some reason, none of the teams will actually make any changes to their rosters. Multiple teams have players with long injuries (6+ months) and they're still all sitting on their teams respective active rosters.

I've tried setting all teams to CPU controlled. I tried setting the option to allow all AI teams to make their own roster moves. I sim the game and they don't do anything. I even manually moved a few of the guys to the DL to see if the teams would fill the spots and after a week of simming the rosters are just left at 23/25 or 22/25 or whatever after moving the injured players.

Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug or what? Any help would be appreciated.

Hey Jeremy,
Before you sim any games, make sure to set all teams to cpu control, allow cpu to make change, and run comptuer manager on all teams.

I just followed instructions you gave setting up AI control managers, BUT didnīt touch anything schedule....

I got a crossed up schedule when using spring training in a test league as well. So I deleted spring training the first year.

Iīm afraid that I didnīt look that far ahead.....

Any hints how I work around this problem. Can I manualy delete the spring training games that happens on Opening Day ????

Hate to start this test year all over again. After all I got Volquez and Cueto over to the Cubs in a nice trade. Think Iīm sat up pretty good for a nice 2008 season.

Look at my avatar, you think I'm going to help the Cubs? Honestly, I don't know if that would work or not. I would suggest backing up the league, and trying it before I'd start over.

Absolutely. Go to the game setup/league setup/functions. There, you'll find "Edit League Schedule". Go to the date/dates where you will find both Spring Training and Regular Season games scheduled. Simply delete the Spring Training games from these dates.

Also, for all you guys having problems with the AI in this set, you must first set all teams to be controlled by you(human manager) and then set them back to being controlled by computer. At this point the teams will begin to make roster moves including signing GM's.
