where does league info live in Lahman db?

Quick question I haven't been able to find on my own or in a search:

I've created a fictional database for use with the historical league function. Basically I changed all the team and stadium names in the Lahman database, era_ballparks files so I can have an auto-expanding fictional league.

Everything is working fine except I can't figure out how to change the "American" and "National" league names. I know they can be changed after importing the league, but the league won't import for me unless I have lgID set to AL or NL originally.

Are those hidden in some table or is it something that the game generates automatically? This isn't a huge problem but if it exists I'd like to find it. I noticed in murmur13s NPB database it has lgID set to AL and NL so right now I'm not optimistic, but figured I'd ask and see if anyone else had solved it.

Running into the same problem and also awaiting a response.

AL and NL are hard coded into the game.

The Federal League and American Association and Players League have possibly been added but I have not personally tried them.

Thanks for clearing that up. I'm guessing that's the same for the division alignment, so say, I couldn't add a Southern division without going into the league structure options after game creation?

Divisions are not hard coded so you may add, remove, or change them. You'll see the appropriate column in the teams.csv.

Yeah, I've played with those but so far only the W, E and C values do anything. Is there a way to get it accept different values if say I wanted to go to a four-division structure?

And thanks for answering all these questions, you're saving me lots of testing time

Don't know because I've only used E and W.
