Schedule generation

Wow.........my new fictional league is all set up (about 4 hours), and I look at the schedule, and YUCK!. All teams have the same off days, so #1's will always match up with #1's in terms of starting pitchers, loooooooooooong road trips, loooooooooong home stands. Can anyone create a schedule for a 2 league league, each league having 3 divisions of 4 teams each? I was hoping the schedule generator would be better with v2006..........

Could you provide more specifics about what you would want - interleague or not, relative numbers of matchups against division/league/interleague opponents, All-Star Game, etc?

There may be something satisfactory in this thread that could be converted into the new file format.

Schedules: How do I add days off in between?

What I am looking for is a simple way to draw out a season. I want to schedule 84 games, starting in April and ending in September. The teams would play one game agains each other with several days off in between games. Is there a simple way to accomplish this?
