Request: 1 league, 12 teams, 3 divisions, 154 games
I'm looking for a schedule that fits the requirements listed in the thread title. I check out SandMan's schedule files and he had one that was close but it was a 162 game schedule. Here's the details:

Thanks.

Couldn't you just edit this schedule. You could take 1 home and 1 away from each divisional opponent and this will give you 156, then just sleect a random home and away non division team to bring it down to 154. The schedule length (days) will still be the same but the number of games will be correct. I would probably just recommend taking 1 home and away from divisional opponents and create the schedule as 156 games....

Or this one is 24 teams, just delete the games for team numbers greater than 12... You could copy in excel, sort by road team, delete all over 12 and then resort by date and road team....
24 team schedule, 154 games Designed for the following configuration: 2 leagues, each with 3 divisions, each with 4 teams 60 games in the division (30H/30A) - 20 games against other 3 teams of division (10H/10A) 94 games outside division, in league (47H/47A) - 11-12 games against other 8 teams of league (5-6H/5-6A) no interleague games The two leagues are nearly exact copies of each other No team has more than 20 consecutive days without offday No homestands or roadtrips longer than 14 games All game times set at 7pm ET ootp6schedule24team154_234un |

It says it could not parse the file. Do you think a 156 game schedule would work better?

You're welcome. I should write a "How to" on how to convert schedules to any amount of games using MS Excel. Only takes about 20-30 minutes and that includes testing with your league...... |

SandMan,
I for one, would welcome that. I'm still "hand creating/editing" all my schedules.

BTW, all my custom schedules are manually created and most have about 15 hours invested into them. I had an excel program that did most of the work but now I rely on manual creations.... |

I've learned how to do certain things with excel to speed up the process, but any more information would be great.

I think it helps if one has some Excel files set up beforehand to organize and present the schedule data in a way that one finds helpful. I've got a couple of files I put together which shows the schedule data in a way I find useful and then another which converts that presentation file back to an OOTP-compatible format.
