Manually entering a schedule

Question: If I were to manually enter a schedule, would the same pattern be followed by OOTP8 every season or would it create a new pattern every year, thus meaning that if I wasn't happy with its setup, I would have to manually enter once again? I know that OOTP6 would keep the same schedule pattern every season after you manually entered it once...

Thanks.

Not sure exactly what you mean. As long as I have known the game it would change the schedule in a specific way. The layout of the games remains the same every year with the same schedule, but year-to-year how the teams are slotted into those games is mixed up within each division.

For instance if the teams of a division in one year were ordered 1,2,3,4, they may be 3,1,4,2 the next year. So if you had 1vs2 and 3vs4 on the first day of the season the first year, the next year it would be 3vs1 and 4vs2.

Not sure if you would interpret that as the pattern changing or the pattern staying the same but with say the colors in it changing.

Thanks, gmo. Yes, that's what I mean. So when I enter a schedule manually, then the intrgrity of the schedule will remain the same, but the teams may change based on order of finish from the previous year. That's what I was wanting to know. Thanks!
