Hi,
I am not an ootp user, i came across this site looking for a 2009 mlb schedule. i know they released a tentative schedule last september, but it has changed since then. I've seen a few threads in this forum asking for the mlb schedule to be converted to a lsdl file to use in ootp, and to do this you need to put the schedule in a .txt file. I did see a thread where someone used the september release of the 2009 schedule to make a .txt file which someone duly converted to lsdl format. Now i'm not assuming that the version here is of the old tentative schedule, i'm sure it has been updated to reflect any changes. I'm just wondering if anyone has heard of www.retrosheet.org? They consist of volunteers who compile data from mlb games (going back to 1871). The data consists of everything down to players, umps, positions, attendances, etc. They are compiled in .txt files which are available here: Retrosheet Game Logs. I also noticed that they have the updated 2009 mlb schedule Retrosheet Original regular season Schedules in a .txt file which can be downloaded. I'm wondering if this can be of any use now or perhaps in the future to save people doubling up on the work. I'm not sure when the updated schedule is finalised, or when this .txt file is available, but i'm sure it's in enough time to be added to the leagues. Cheers, Jon Last edited by jevinder; 02-28-2009 at 05:04 PM. |
