160 team/162 game schedule

I know this is a massive amount of teams, but the schedule is fairly simple. The league format is 2/8/10 and I only want 9h & 9a against all teams within a single division and an All-Star game.

The 10-team schedule like you describe is very nice in being so simple and balanced breaking down into all 3-game series.

The problem with all 3-game series though is that it would mean more offdays than in a modern MLB schedule (one per week as opposed to about two per 3 weeks). Presumably you are planning on at least 4 rounds of playoffs. So besides the issue of more frequent offdays as related to rest, there is the issue of the regular season being a week and a half longer. But that would be the easiest thing to do. That schedule is made and could be multiplied times 16.

It would be possible to squeeze the schedule to get rid of the extra offdays. In that case though of course the days of the week would not longer be meaningful in that series would be crossing over the Sun/Mon line that modern MLB rarely does.

The off days and slightly longer season are not a problem at all and the easiest schedule you can make works fine for me. Thanks for keeping in mind the Sun/Mon crossover, it does seem the way schedules should be played.
