Coming down the stretch, it going to be reeeeeaalllll interesting how the committee handles the top 2 seeds in each region. Coming into this week, I would have said they had teams in this order.....

1. Zags
2. Cavs
3. Heels
4. Blue Devils
5. Wildcats
6. Spartans
7. Vols
8. Wolverines

So far, the Devils are the only team to win their conference tourney. Either Sparty or Michigan will win the T1e4n. But the Zags will have, by far, the worst loss this week. Now, I think the committee will see it.........

1.Blue Devils
2.Cavs
3-6. Zags/Heels/Wildcats/MSU-UM winner
7. Vols
8. MSU-UM loser

My personal opinion is IDK how you put the Zags above the other 3 unless you just want to put them #1 in the West because they are clearly the only decent team in the west. So it "rolls off the tongue" better. But they lost the chmp title game by 13 to a team they beat by 48 a month ago & was headed to the NIT. All the others lost to teams that are going to be 4 seeds, minimum. I would put Kentucky as the third #1 seed w/the T1e4n winner as the 4th. Either way, I think this will be the most even top 8 I've ever seen for the NCAA's........

.......Oregon popped another team's bubble last night. Probably NCSt's, TCU's or St.John's. It is an absolute shame the Pac12 is probably going to get 3 schools in. I'm not trying to say the former 3 are getting robbed cause, Lord knows, they have serious flaws on their resumes as well. But the Pac12 is pure trash this season. I truly would rather see the Southern get a 2nd team in rather than the "conference of champions". Everytime Bill Walton says that I want to bong him upside the head and yell at him "You're barely the conference of quarterfinalists!".......

........The poor choices among the finals selections is just more proof that expanding the field to 68 was overkill. There aren't any worthy teams being excluded at 64. It also underscores for me how it is unfair making the automatic qualifiers have to play in the "First Four" rounds. At least the worst conference champions found a way when they needed it most. The last 8 teams to get an at large bid most likely stumbled across the finish line. Let's make them earn their spots in the field of 64.
