Pretty decent return for the Cavs considering the position they were in. But it looks even more like 2017 or bust for the Cavs. They could be left with Kevin Love and some 19 year old kid for the 18-19 season.

I was hoping the Cavs would end up with Melo as that was really the only scenario I saw that might retain LBJ in Cleveland. I suppose they could still flip the Nets pick into a Melo trade. We'll see.

Well, the Cavs are just getting another pick in the deal, 2nd rounder...

Gibson swings, and a fly ball to deep right field! This is gonna be a home run! Unbelievable! A home run for Gibson! And the Dodgers have won the game, 5 to 4; I don't believe what I just saw! I don't believe what I just saw!

If I was either GM, I wouldn't deal with the other for the rest of my career.

If Boston wasn't completely honest about IT's hip, then I wouldn't trust them again.

If Boston did tell the whole truth, I wouldn't ever do biz with Cleveland, who extorted an extra asset from me after knowingly purchasing damaged goods. They just gave the rest of the NBA a reason to doubt Ainge's integrity. You don't wreck my rep like that.

There may end up being more to the story, but it sure seems like this is Cleveland's screw-up, and Ainge being very understanding (or simply wanting Irving enough to not let a 2nd-rounder get in the way). I mean, IT's injury - in-general - was well-known to the Cavs and everyone else, and the prospect of the post-agreement (but pre-finalization) physical was a given, so there's not much that Ainge could've withheld or misrepresented.

Karma would be for the Nets to win 45 games and their pick fall to #20...

45 wins could get them the #3 seed in the east.

A good YMCA team could make a run for the 8th spot.
