Is that happening even after updating to version 4.0.35? I'm looking at a test save from that version and Neal's game logs show him with total minutes in the high teens in most games, and nothing lower than 12-13 ES minutes (except once when he got hurt.)

Yes, I moved up to4.0.35 this morning. I have run through 9 games; Neal is at 10.4 shifts per game, 10:16 minutes. Last game was 5 for 6:45.

Puck Control tactic right now. Using Neal as a garbage collector. Sometimes up to 3rd line as an aggressive forechecker.

Still investigating, but it looks like there may be a few factors contributing to it: having Bailey on the team is pushing him off the first line, the tactics both have strong preferences for good defensive forwards on the top lines and he has poor defensive ratings, and I suspect this is slipping into one of the problem areas where the AI isn't optimizing its tactical combination at the moment - it should probably be choosing something where the end result is more favourable to putting a guy like Neal on the top line. This save should be useful for testing the fixes to that when we're working on them next week, at least.

Thank you for looking into it; I really appreciate the help. Other than the aggravating HC decisions, everything else with this years game is top notch. Enjoying it a lot.
