Welcome to the OOTP Managers' Lounge!

Hi, and welcome to the new managers' lounge! Thanks, Andreas, for opening it up for us.

We already have a board where commissioners can get help from another, which has proven fairly useful, and so I thought it'd be great to have a board where existing and prospective managers could do the same. There hasn't been a lot of threads in the past that would belong on such a board, but I believe that's largely because whenever there is one it's quickly buried beneath all the ad threads so it quickly becomes a question of why even bother. Ad threads are great, don't get me wrong, but I believe these more general topics are just as important, if not more important, and hopefully this board will encourage their propagation.

If you see a thread elsewhere that you think would be more useful here, please PM me. That goes for long past active threads too if you like. I think it'd probably be best if we try to keep this sub-board more or less free from ads and leave the main board for them however. I can already envision some topics that might more belong here than on the main board that might just seem like long threads of ads (e.g. What are the longest running leagues?), but we all can decide as we go along whether those should be here or there. Maybe someone can come up with a guiding principle or something on that.

Anyway, order a drink, pick one of these luxurious make-believe seats, and let's discuss some OOTP online league manager tips and tricks!
