The Chicago Cubs gave hitting coach Jaden Dockins a three year contract extension. They did not renew the contract of of pitching coach Bobby Benson.

The Detroit Tigers fired manager Bill Armour.

The Pittsburgh Pirates fired manager Fred Clarke.
