The BSBL is a competitive OOTP league played at a relaxed pace using fictional players. We have an active slack and forum, lots of trading, and an engaged set of owners. We are in the middle of upgrading to OOTP 19 right now - so this is a great time to join the league!

Our opening is with the San Jose Owls. Prior to the 1990s, the Owls were mere lovable losers, making the post-season just once between 1963 (when the Owls entered the league as an expansion team) and 1991. The 90's, however, have been much kinder to the Owls, as San Jose made the post-season in both '91 and '94. As the new GM of the Owls, you will have some tough choices. On the one hand, the Owls boast one of the best SPs (and possibly the best lefty SP) in Tyson Martin, have an All-Star at SS, some interesting players on the farm who are ML or close to ML ready, and a fair amount of budget room to sign free agents. On the other hand, San Jose is a small market team and is stuck with at least one regrettable contract to a former ace who has regressed into a mop-up man.

If you are ready to face this challenge - send an email to me and the commissioner at the above email address or message me on the forum here - though email will get you a faster response.
