Question New Game 19

Just ret'd to ootp BB - updated from 17 to 19. I have a few easy questions -
1) can the "ball size" still be adjusted ( made larger ) on the screen?
2) can the players still be adjusted (made larger) on the screen?
3) what are widgets? read the manual explanation but still don't
see what "widget" means. Is "widget" just another word for
"option"?

Thanks!

Welcome back.
1) ball size can be adjusted
2) player size can be adjusted
3) widgets are optional displays you can add to the main playing screen. These can be moved on the screen if you do not use auto align. Lineups, scoreboard, hitter info, pitcher info, etc. are widgets. The view you use also effects what widgets are displayed.

OOTP settings menu for #1 and 2, also ball size can be adjusted in the game setup screen before the game starts (but player size cannot). You have to be in the game setup screen to configure #3, and you can do it before or during the game.

Rancourt, there are no recommended setups for widgets. You can have the screen set to "auto adjust" where the developers use a typical setup. Widgets can be set to your preferences. Screen size and resolution and type of display (modern, classic, 2D, 3D) determine what you can see. It's mostly up to you and wgat you like.
