I've got some (complete or mostly complete) games featuring:

Mel Allen
Red Barber
Jim Britt
Bob Prince / Jim Woods
Ken Coleman
Ernie Harwell
Harry Caray
Jack Buck
Earl Gillespie
Chuck Thompson
Ty Tyson
Bob Elson
France Laux
Jimmy Dudley
Gordon McLendon
Russ Hodges

and a few others...including more contemporary guys (for more contemporary mods)

In addition, I have (or have access to) most broadcaster bios/autobios that have been written to this point.

So, would people want a Mel Allen Mod? A Mel Allen-Red Barber Mod? A Golden Age Yankees Mod? A Liberty Radio Mod (McLendon, Lindsey Nelson, etc.)
Interesting thread. Anyone here trade these? I have some to trade.

What if we cut actual audio clips and used those directly. Instead of using the experimental text to speech we can use actual clips.

Is this possible?

This really has me thinking, as a former independent league radio guy.

I grew up on Hall of Famer Herb Carneal and Halsey Hall with the 1970s Twins (Halsey was the first "Holy Cow" guy with the Minneapolis Millers in the 1940s before Harry Caray really got started).

I'll remember Herb's "Well, hi again, everybody" until the day I die. He worked one season with Ernie Harwell before he went to the Tigers and that broadcast must have been as much fun to listen to as one with Red Barber and Vin Scully working together in Brooklyn.

But as for others, has anybody mentioned Jack Brickhouse yet? "Hey hey!" for a Cubs home run in the 70s and 80s on WGN was an awful lot of fun.

I used to play APBA Baseball which had Ernie Harwell doing play-by-play. As a paid member, Ernie could say your name for the audio files. I have an unusual last name. I put my name in place of Brewers shortstop Ernest Riles. So I thrilled to Ernie calling my name in a game.
