P.410 2040 Wrap up

P.410 was a tough leauge.
A lot of well matched teams, but a .600 wp can still leave you 27 games out of 1st place in your division.
Plus I do feel a liitle bit sad for the guy who won the NC East division with 124-48, .765 wp with a 27 game lead over the 2nd place team in his division, (Perugia).

Perugia got revenge quickly, they beat the division winner in the Division Series Championship by 3 games to 2.
Well played Perugia!
Congrats, keep going, you can win the whole thing!
Best of Luck,

Well, Perugia is out.

The Chargers are on to the PL.410 Championship Series.
Chargers are a good solid team. they'll play the Ryzens for the title.
The Ryzens are another solid team. Both teams had similar records which should lead to a close series.
I like seeing teams with realistic winning percentages compete against each other.

Mega teams that routinely lead their divisions by 27 games is not realistic.
There were 2 teams that were 64 games behind!!!!!!?????
It's got to be frustrating for those teams that play in that div. to have to play the mega team 19 times. That's what feeds the "whales".

Most teams in P.410 2040 were good realistic teams.
The few that everyone calls "whales" are great teams, they should be playing at a higher level. Would be more of a challenge for them to play against simarly powered teams, I would assume, but I guess they may enjoy shooting fish in a barrel, also??????

I've enjoyed my 6 years so far in PL, my team has improved.
Ive made it to the 7th game of the PL Championship one year, I've made it to game 6 of a Sub Leauge Championship another year.
The most wins that I have had in a PL season is 89.
I've been playing OOTP on and off since OOTP08.
The addition of Perfect Team has sparked my interestst in a big way!
I've been in it every week since the beta and regular PT roll out.
I played 1 year in bronze, 1 in silver, 3 in gold, 11 years in diamond, and 6 years in perfect.
I'm having a blast. Hope to be in the playoffs next year.
I'll post more later, gotta work on the 2041 team.

It's funny though... I have two teams that have won Perfect level championships (1 three times) and in almost all cases they did it by beating out super-whales along the way that on paper I don't think should have happened. You just have to make it to the dance.

Hey Dunzie, thanks for reply, I agree, I have been happy with my results and improvement of my team. I worry about the guys who are trying to adjust to the action in PL, and want to improve, but when they find themselves 64 games behind in their division, will give up on the season, which only feeds the "whales" and ruins conference competition for all other teams.

I also agree that teams that consistantly perform poorly should be sent down to a suitable level.
