Joe Margoneri becomes the first player born in the 1930s to reach the 100 oldest Living Players List

The Wikipedia 100 oldest living players list now has its first player born in the 1930s. Lefthanded pitcher, Joe Margoneri (born: Jan. 13, 1930) a 1956 and 1957 New York Giant joins the list at # 100. He is the only player on he list born in the 1930s. The list includes two players born before 1920, 97 players born in the 1920s and now one player born in the 1930s.
Margoneri went 7-7 in 36 career games with the 1956 and 1957 New York Giants, the Giants last two seasons playing in New York before moving to San Francisco in 1958. He is pictured at the top right.
Pictured a the top left is #99 Ray Herbert (born: Dec. 15, 1929, MLB career 1950-1966) the last player on the list born in the 1920s
The main Wikipedia page lists the 100 oldest living players, but there is a supplementary page that lists those who rank from #101 to #125. Now in the bottom spot on that list at # 125 is held by long-time Pittsburgh Pirates ace righthander, Bob Friend (Born Nov. 24, 1930, MLB career: 1951-1966), who spent all but his final major leagues season with Pittsburgh. (Pictured: bottom left).
