Market Size questions

There is a team in my league that has had pretty good attendance and a lot of winning seasons in a row. The team just recently won it's first World Series and it's market size jumped from big to Huge in one season. First of all, is this possible?

Secondly... Unless i am thinking of a different game, didn't media contracts used to be listed as X amount for X amount of years? And then they would resign new deals at a certain time.

Anyhow... thanks in advance.

1) Yes, market size does not directly translate to population. Probably a better explanation would be fan awareness or something because it also impacts media revenue. Search the forums for market size threads, there are some really interesting ones that explain it much better than I just did.

2) I do not remember media contracts, just amounts that fluctuate from season to season.

Yeah, OOTP used to have that. Way back. In 6.5 and closer to the big bang.

But now that is not shown anymore. It still works this way though, if you turn on Commissioner mode and you go to edit team info such as budget and market size, you will see the national and regional tv deals and how many years they have left on it, so that is still how it is done, the game just doesn't have a place to display that it seems.
