Pitching WAR

It's always been my understanding that OOTP uses fWAR for pitchers (that is, FIP as the evaluator), but pitcher A is listed as the league WAR leader (both at 1.5):

Pitcher A - 2.79 FIP, 38.2 IP (also, 2.33 ERA, 0.97 WHIP)
Pitcher B - 2.35 FIP, 41.1 IP (also, 1.31 ERA, 0.70 WHIP)

My initial thought was that it was because Pitcher A came first alphabetically, but #3 and #4 in the rankings are both at 1.4 WAR, but #4's name would come first, leading me to assume that somewhere in the game mechanics, it's calculating a higher WAR for Pitcher A. Hunh? Could this be connected to the ERA decimal issue (i.e. 54.05 ERA where it should read 54.00)?

Off-topic, but pitcher B has yet to walk a batter this season. Damn!

Could it simply be a correction for home ballpark environment and/or pitcher defense?

IIRC ballpark is not in the calculation for WAR, or the + stats, coming from Markus himself.

Hmmm... it's not pitcher defense, since Pitcher B has been roughly a run better. Pitcher B does pitch in a more pitcher-friendly park, but I find it hard to believe it would make that much of a difference in the calculation.

Also, Pitcher B: 47:1 K:BB in 49.1 IP. hfs...

I believe it calculates down to more decimal places than it shows, so pitchers A and B could be tied and listed alphabetically, while #3 and 4 have lower WARs.
