Playing the same game on multiple computers

I have ootp on my desktop and lap top. Is there a feasible way to be able to play the same game on two computers?

Sure, several ways.

Pick an available network drive to save the file.

You could use a USB drive or an external HDD or simply save to a folder on a network computer.

Make a 1 person online league.

You can use Dropbox to sync folders that live outside of your Dropbox folder.

Sync Folders Outside of the Dropbox Folder With Dropbox - The Unofficial Dropbox Wiki

You can set OOTP to use a custom data folder, but that affects every league you create, and you'll probably bump up against Dropbox storage limits fairly quickly.

Ultimately, it's easiest to just zip up your league folder and transfer the zip back and forth via Dropbox or flash drive.

I have a USB external drive. I play the game on local drive for speed. When wanting to backup/copy game to my laptop and back, I just rename the .lg folder to a time-stamp.saved folder and put the .lg folder under saved_games - I go from desktop to USB to laptop.

I just go from laptop to external drive to desktop when I get back home.

unfortunately my laptop is a macbook and my desktop is a pc. They use different formats for usb and external drives. Really annoying. I'm not a computer guru so there may be a way about it.
