Post 3D player animation / movement issues go here!

If the 3D movements cause major issues (ie. no 3D was generated, game crashes, game hangs, etc...), please post those in separate threads.

However, If the issue is simply a cosmetic issue, let's keep those to a single thread here. What I need from you guys is a clear description of the issue. To further help in debugging, when you replay the motion, a set of seemingly random numbers will be copied to your clipboard. You should simply be able to paste them here as well - they greatly help in tracking down problems!

Groundball infield Single to the catcher. The ball ended up bouncing past the second baseman and the catch ran out to get it.

If your issue includes balls or players going past the fences, then please also be sure to mention what stadium you are using!

On bunts/ground balls to the pitcher, (at least on the first base side of the mound), the pitcher seems to flash instantaneously past the ball towards first, then runs back and fields it.

This seems to happen a lot.

Also, on the cosmetic side, players that seem to beat the throw to a base are called out - hoping to get the pbp/3d more in sync.

Also, when a hard grounder is hit to first or second, occasionally the fielder (who seems to have ample time to either run to the bag or toss for the putout) holds it....holds it....HOLDS IT....until the runner is safe. Just looking for a little more honesty, graphically

One more thing: why, when I am asked whether to send a runner home and am told about the outfielder's arm and his speed, I make the decision to run and then the visualization ends and I am on to the next play. I have to look at the scoreboard to see if my runner made it home safely.

As an addendum, this started in one of the latter builds of OOTP19, if I recall. It's not new to 20 and wasn't there when 19 was first released.

Hmmm. Interesting. I have played many games with 19, am running the latest update, and have never seen this problem. As a matter of fact, I just completed a game in 19 this morning, ran into the situation, and the animation displayed correctly. By the way, in the game I played this morning, a 1965 historical replay where I manage the LA Dodgers, Sandy Koufax hurled the first perfect game in my 60 years of baseball sim gaming. (APBA before Strat.)

Won't answer every question/comment personally, but the ask problems will be fixed for the next builds.

Have to say I also had that problem in OOTP 19.

I've had one perfect game in 13 seasons. It's an awesome feeling when it happens and it's your guy pitching.

awesome when finished, but the 9th inning is nerve-racking.

Enter game in progress causes jumpiness, crash

When I enter a game in progress that has been simming in the background, the game becomes unstable. The action in the game begins jumping forward spasmodically instead of waiting for me to swing or pitch for the team I am controlling. Innings race by suddenly without any on-field action being shown. Then the whole of OTTP crashes.

I'm having the same problem... V19 played flawlessly, with V20, the game has a mind of its own...My games also crash. Have updated drivers, tried in full windowed mode, lowered crowd detail/ animation and other suggestions that Marcus recommended. Going back to V19 for now...

Markus & team,

A couple of things that are bugging me still in v20...

1) Pickoff attempts. Right now it seems like runners are telepathic and start to dive back to the bag before the pitcher has even moved. Happens every time as far as I can see.

2) (and this was a problem in 19 also)... Walk up music doesn't play until after the at bat has started. Kind of misses the point of music to "walk up" to .... UPDATE: this might only be a problem when in pitch by pitch mode...?

Loving the beta so far, but would really be happy to see these things fixed.

The pitcher (glitcher? get it?) still glitches a little after the 20.0.24 update. It is much less, but I still see it about 25% of the time. It does not show up on the replays though, so I didn't paste the info here.
