When clicking the 'Real Life Statistics' tab in player profiles, the game should default to the pitching stats for pitchers and the batting stats for field players. Reason It's really tedious to be looking through various pitcher profiles and have to keep clicking on the pitching stats link after getting into the 'Real Life Statistics' tab. Priority Medium |

Suggestion:
Create an "aquired players" box in the team transactions section. (Or at minimum put all new players in the dfa box) Reason: As a manager of an organization you should have complete control of where newly acquired players go. All newly acquired players should never be placed anywhere until the human player assigns them. Currently anyone who isn't a major leaguer (including new draftees) is "randomly" assigned throught your organization. I should not have to search my entire minor league system to find the new catcher I signed to fill my AAA roster. Priority: Medium

-Make the Nations list (under Manager menu --> Explore World) sortable by columns. -Make the Nations dropdown menu in the scout tasklist sorted according to the last sort of the Nations list in Explore World. Reason I think many gameplayers who use the Nations list to scout for hidden players would prefer to be able to sort the list by baseball program quality, and not in alphabetical order by country. And in the nation dropdown in the scouting tasklist, it takes forever to get down to Venezuela or Taiwan, even though these countries are rich in prospects. Priority Low. |

The ability to sort retired players by year of retirement. Reason For those of us who manually elect players to the HOF, this is a must have. Priority High

While playing out a game, add Shortlist Player to the Action menu when viewing a player's profile. Reason Right now, during a game, the only screen that allows the shortlist option is the lineups screen. It makes more sense to be able to select the player while you are viewing him, rather than having to go to another screen. Priority Low, but more efficient.

Auto-save can be fully turned off, both in the league options and for quitting the game/loading another universe/etc. Reason Sometimes you make a mistake and hit Finish Today at a critical moment or do something you can't undo. This is for those moments. Priority Extremely high. Trust me. |

When a filter is actually in use, the button should not say filter: none -- perhaps it could read filter: in use Reason Many errors due to thinking that you are looking at the total list, only to realize later that a filter was on... especially since the game remembers past filters in particular places in the game Priority Medium

When in the Lineup/Depth Chart screens, provide an "lockbox" option to either lock an individual into a certain position (or slot on the depth chart if not a starter) or spot into the lineup (I believe it's Grey Dog's Bowl Bound College Football has this function). Reason I often use the "Ask Manager" functions especially after promotions in order to get a different look at my team, but it would be ideal to not have to re-sort the entire lineup/depth chart to see the impact of one or two individuals. This would also be great to have in the minors (helpful when trying to teach players certain positions) when using the "Ask AI" functions. Priority High

And to add to the above suggestion...
Suggestion Add two additional options on the pitching staff page: Ask Manager for Bullpen and Ask Manager for Starting Rotation. When these are used, the AI would fill the pen with pitchers not already used in the rotation, and vice versa. Reason I often want to leave my rotation alone, but want to one-click a new bullpen, and vice versa. I do like the idea of 'locking' people in slots, but I would also like some very quick buttons that give the user more flexibility and convenience in setting staffs and lineups. Priority Low. |

The ability to "undo" substitiutions. Subs should only be actually "made" once you leave the sub screen and go back to the main game screen. Reason I was dragging a guy down to pinch hit during a game on the substitution screen and my finger slipped off the button. The guy ended up in the lineup somewhere I didn't want him and quickly found out I couldn't "undo" this flub. Priority Low, honestly. Only really becomes an issue if you're on a laptop/touchpad. Still, I would think it's fairly easy to add. . ..

"ARE YOU SURE" type warnings, which can be turned off if you like, for things like "intentional walk," "hit batter" and such. Reason The choices to click with the mouse change if there are runners on. If you think a choice will be somewhere and you click prematurely, it's a potntial problem. Priority Low.

I thought I posted this already, but I coudln't find it. If it's a duplicate, my apologies.
Suggestion Make split season standings show as such - each half treated on the standings page as its own seperate "season" (currently is combined). Reason Reality ... tracking Priority Maybe medium. High if "low hanging fruit" that takes 4 minutes to fix. |

minor league suggestion in Transaction screen
Suggestion
Add "suggestion" interface to the current choice of "ratings" or" statistics" in the transaction screen Reason In 5 or 6 levels of minor leagues ther are often 20 or more players to be promoted or demoted. The only way to see the promotion or demotion suggestion is in the HTML report which reloads the ML team home page after every transaction. Meaning three clicks and a scroll/hunt through the minor league page for every single transaction. ... paiiiiiiiinfull! If we could see the suggestion in the minor league transaction screen (use a code like R-AA (ready for AA) or PO-A (Probaby overmatched at single A) etc.) Then we could just drag and drop the players into any team we wanted. - Or even simpler, just a up or down arrow if they are recommended to be promoted or demoted. Add parentheses to filters Reason Currently it's difficult to build complex filters. The parentheses matter. For example: age between 20 and 30 AND (contact greater than 50/80 OR power greater than 50/80) has a different meaning than: (age between 20 and 30 AND contact greater than 50/80) OR power greater than 50/80 Even though the criteria are identical! Add SISA rescout option to player profile in Commissioner Mode Reason To allow for online commissioners to better portray a player after they've edited him, for example, I create a dominating pitcher eligible for the next draft. I don't want his potentials to still say, for example, 41-9-12 or whatever, but I don't want to rescout the whole league. Priority Medium high |

SuggestionRemove apostrophes where not appropriate. Best example is on the statistics page for "K's". Should be "Ks". An apostrophe indicates possession. A nitpick, but proper grammar!
Rationale Correct English Priority Medium - I'm sure this is a 2-second fix. |

Redefine reliever roles in the pitching screen, so that the worst pitchers are not brought into close games just because it is an early inning Reason Mop-up means two different things: 1) Guy you pitch when the game is out of hand, far ahead or far behind, either because he is young and needs experience or because he is terrible and the manager figures he is the one to tire out in a meaningless situation, and 2) Guy you bring in first if there is a need to replace a starter in the early innings, due to injury, weather delay, etc. I say "mop up" mainly means #1. The game AI currently believes that mop up includes #2. I find it infuriating, in a playoff game, when you have 10 good pitchers, to have your injured starter replaced in a scoreless game by the one guy on the staff you would NEVER want in an important situation, and I have seen this happen three times recently. I don't know what to call the two -- long relief and meaningless innings? Whatever Priority Medium

Suggestion:
On the screen where you ask the AI manager for lineups, an option should be added for a lineup based on the players already in the lineup. Reason: I've selected the players I want to get the most playing time, but I don't want to be troubled to figure out the best lineup order. Importance: Medium
