Suggestion Add ability to EASILY change text size and colors to make it easier to read
Reason At 72, my eyes are not what they once were and my enjoyment of the game is greatly decreased by inability to read many screens. the text colors are often the problem, but at resolution game requires, I cannot read text easily Priority HIGH

All time leaders
mlb.com has a section on there site where they track milestones. The one that I really like is the alltime leader board. One of their postings look like this: "Joe Cool moved into 8th place all time with his homerun #589 passing John Stud". Something like this would be neat. Love your game.
Thanks Tim |

Suggestion: Add multiple articles about the most important league events like the all star game, playoffs, and World Series. In cases where the news page does mention (barely) these events then increase the number of news articles devoted to these events!
Reason: The all star game, playoffs, and World Series should be a huge deal on the leagues front page, with a glut of articles related to these events. These events are not well highlighted in OOTP 2007 - I've simmed through seasons and had to struggle to find out whether the scheduled playoffs/World Series actually occurred and that is a poor payoff to 100's of hours a user might put into a season. Hell, Baseball Mogul is kicking OOTP's ass around the block in this department, that fact alone should be reason enough to make this change . Priority: High. |

Suggestion: Once a year (in spring) generate a Street & Smiths style yearbook (in html page form) which has fairly detailed team and league recaps of the previous season, plus team previews for the upcoming season. For the previous year recap highlight the World Series and award winners, the biggest surprises and disappointments on each team, and maybe give 20 players per team a grade based on how they actually performed. For the upcoming seasons previews you'd need standings predictions as well as predictions of the tops individual performers, opening day roster predictions, and highlight new additions to a team, the players lost, the star players, and new players to watch out for.
Reasons: This would make the game more fun to play .Priority: I can't see it happening, but holy cow I bet this would be a hyper popular addition to the game. |

Suggestion: Add interesting personal info about players, maybe under history tab on the player profiles... Such as "Joe Kennedy owns and runs a Llama farm in his native Peru" or "Bill Dwight credits his big Leauge pitching ability to his childhood job as newspaper delivery boy!" etc...
Reason: Would make players more individualized and add to the immersion factor Priority: Probably Low (but I think it would be really cool) |

Suggestion: Ability to add new 'article' templates to the game. By this I mean, new versions of the standard news stories for injuries, shutouts, no-hitters, and so forth.
Reason: As much as I like the charm of the stories in the game, too many repeat too often. I'd like to come up with new ones. Right now all that I can do is edit old articles, but I'd like to see the new story first and not have to change it. Or create one just for myself. A trigger system to produce the events (much like the scouting screen sorting) of 'if this, then template 012' would take care of it, I hope. Much like logos and uniforms, libraries of 'messages' could be produced and shared. I know I would get cracking on this immediately. Priority: Low |
