Suggestion
Make some injuries of indefinite duration (mild/serious/career threatening), and have some players have setbacks in their recovery from injury. Reason Realism, for one. It would also make roster decisionmaking more interesting: trade deadline time, and you don't know if your star centerfielder will be healthy in time for the playoffs- swing a deal for a rental player or hope the guy makes it back? There could even be 'doctor error'; better doctors could predict injury time with greater accuracy. Priority Medium. |

Suggestion:
Allow player rating editting to be done directly, and not on the 250-point scale. Reason: If you want to do any large-scale (or more than 5-10 players) ratings editting you may have to spend a decent amount of time doing math (albeit somewhat simple) to figure out the correct number to enter as well as then having to go back and do it again for the same player when you get it wrong.. I'm requesting a direct correlation between the number you enter and the players rating, at least for higher scales (1-100) and at least for the main ratings. Priority: Medium-High. Obviously, what is in the game works, but I believe this will improve the game drastically for those that edit players at all.

Better game generated default logos. Rather than the three letter logos currently created by the game, I would like to see the game use a single letter, using various fonts - with the primary and secondary team colors utilized. Reason Would improve visual aspects of the game for those that do not utilize custom logos (or do not want to create custom logos for all the minor league teams.) Would still create team recognition with the use of primary/secondary colors and the default hat and jersey logos would also look better than the current default logos create. Priority Low

Suggestion:
Have the ability to use/add umpire calling tendencies Reason: It would add another level of realism to the game, once you knew who the umpire crew was going to be for your series it would allow you to adjust your player strategies and team line-ups for that series. Priority: low to medium

Suggestion
Replace the Default Player Image. For players that do not have a photo or FaceGen image, have the game generate an image when their player profile is accessed. The image can be created using team colors and the player's last name and uniform number. Reason Would get rid of the blurry default image and provide for easier player recognition on league reports and leader boards for those players that do not already have a photo. Priority Medium Low

Just wanted to second these suggestions.. particularly number 1 and 2 on the list. I'd probably up the priority on number two... I think blueturf's suggestion looks classier, vs, the current three letters in a circle.

Injury Frequency
Suggestion:
Include the frequency of each injury and off-field event in the injuries.txt and off_field_injuries.txt files. For example... 100,15,45,20,0,0,1,0,0,0,0,1,hyperextended elbow,a hyperextended elbow,, This would mean a player has a 1-in-100 chance of suffering a hyperextended elbow whenever a pitching/throwing injury is determined to have occured. 20000,1,0,0,when his fingers got stuck in a bowling ball, This would mean a player has a 1-in-20000 chance of suffering this kind of injury on any given day of the year. Reason: Much more realistic frequency of certain injuries and events. Priority: The priority for doing something about this, whether it's simply adding a number to the text files or reformatting the whole injury/off-field event system, is EXTREMELY HIGH. |

Editable Stats
Suggestion:
All current and career stats should be editable from the Player Profile/Card. Reason: I recognize that this could really screw up continuity during a game. However, it would really be useful at the beginning of a new game. Priority: MEDIUM-HIGH |
