Exclamation Suggestions Have Been Collected!

First of all, thanks everyone for all of your suggestions!

We have finished compiling all of the suggestions, and in all, factoring in duplicates and so forth, the OOTP user community put forth about 750 suggestions!

Markus, Andreas, and I are going through several LONG sessions to review each and every one of these suggestions. We went through the first 200 or so today!

Again, thanks very much for all of your great suggestions. We're really looking forward to starting work on OOTP 9!

Cool! If even half of the suggestions make it into the game it would be 375 improvements, which would be incredible. Great work guys.

All I'm hoping for is that "commish mode" won't be discarded. In OOTP 2007 it was specifically stated that commish mode was not intended to be a long-term way to manage a team. To me that was extremely disappointing, because I DO NOT want to play in "get fired" mode. I play sports management games because I want to manage my favorite team for as long as I want.

I DO NOT want OOTP to become like FM, where the game "reranks" you every half season and makes it impossible to win and then the AI "owner" fires you.

I'm pretty sure no-one said that comish mode wasn't inteded for long term play. What is not intended for long-term play is the "act-as" feture when your are in comish mode. In the "act-as" mode the computer GM can overide any of your changes every time you sim or move forward a day. If your in commish mode and apply to be the GM of a team, that is a legitmit way to play, but there is major problems with playing in commish mode (your not held to a budget, you have more power than just a normal GM, and you can't be fired) What many people do that don't want to be fired is just turn it on near the end of the playoffs (since like 95% of the firings happen then), and if they get fired durring the season, just click on commish mode and re-hire themself to the team they where just fired from.

I've never seen OOTP rerank you and make it impossible to win (allthough there is a host of factors that go into winning in the playoffs), as long as you win and keep winning your chances of being fired are slim.
