Suggestion - On the pitching and batting reports for a team, please show if they are a lefty or righty.
Reason - It's a basic fact about pitchers and hitters which is important to see on stat screens. Priority - Medium |

Allow sorting lists of players (be it free agents, rosters, etc) by multiple categories at once based on which was most recently clicked. the way this works now is i click "contact rating" then i click "power rating", the game will presently sort all the players only by "power rating", what i want it to do is sort by "power rating" and then have a secondary sorting by "contact rating" Reason it would make looking at free agents in huge league or all the players in my minors easier Priority high to me, but everyone probably thinks their suggestions are god's gift to OOTP. |

In the Auto-Save & Log Options settings, allow the ability to just save game logs (and box scores, maybe) for the playoffs. Also, allow me to select this option as part of the current options. By that I mean I can currently save game logs for Human Leagues, Human Organizations and Human Teams. I'd like to be able to JUST save the playoff game logs for my entire league, or for only my organization or only for my team. Reason I don't really want to read how my team did in a game on June 3rd at times, but I do for Game 3 of the Division Series. While memory is cheap these days, this is also a space saver for some people and a time saver in auto-simming if your league is large enough. Priority Very Low

SUGGESTION - I am trying to see the HBP allowed by each pitcher on a team. I don't see it in the Basic, Expanded, Expanded 2 or Opponent reports. I specifically want the stats for each pitcher while on the team so it should be on one of these reports.
While on the topic, one of these reports should also show which hand the pitcher throws. None of those reports show if the pitcher is a lefty or a righty. This is more than a bit annoying. REASON - Basic pitching information which should be on reports PRIORITY - Medium for the HBP info and High for the L/R data |

SUGGESTION - The batting/pitching/fielding reports for the current season should include players who retired later in the season.
REASON - I am trying to run evaluations of players and teams but players who retired during the season do not show up on the reports. This throws off the totals. As example I have a team which has a player with about 400PA who had a career ending injury in August. Once he retired his stats no longer showed up on the team's batting stats reports. PRIORITY - Med-High (Team reports for the year should included everyone who played on the team regardless of their current status) |

On pages where you can "Open in External Browser", allow the option to list all pages on a single report, not just the current page. Reason I'm in an online league (so I don't have the capability to generate reports), and I like to dump league stats and scouting information to a spreadsheet. Since you can only export a single page to an external browser at a time, I typically have to "Export -> Cut -> Paste into Spreadsheet" 20 or 30 times to get the whole league. It seems that this would be a pretty simple change to add. Priority Medium.

OOTP Currently stores the history of individual batters vs individual pitchers. Markus has also indicated that some batters do hit some pitchers better than others so this is very useful information to have. Unfortunately there is no report right now that will show me how my team (the players on my 25 man roster) do against an opposing team's pitching staff. Currently to get this information I have to tediously collect it by hand. Reason This is more information that is very useful to a manager filling out a lineup but just isn't available. Provide PHP templates Reason Large baseball universes are too unwieldy to put online ... too many HTML files. PHP templates that allow for dynamic pages will keep this under control. Would be coupled with exporting the database so it can be imported into MySQL. Priority High |

League standings at the top of the "league home page." Reason The standings are the most important statistic, and the main reason that most people go to the home page. Right now, the standings are off to the side, almost down in the corner. I realize that this emulates some newspapers, but the papers with the best layouts have the standings at the top of the page. I also realize that there's a separate "league standings" page. I just think that, to most viewers and visitors to the league home page, the basic standings are the most important fact to see at-a-glance. Priority Low. |

Show career splits along with single season splits Reason If there's a way to see this, then kindly disregard this, but it would be nice to see how a player has hit vs. lefties in his career, has hit in close/late situations in his career, home/away splits for his career, etc., instead of this only being available for the current season. It would help in player evaluating, especially since ratings like "clutch" are hidden. Priority Medium

Show top award winners for a career (most mvp's, cy youngs, etc, etc) Reason Currently there is no place in game to see this information. If you sim 100 years, there is no way to know who won the most cy young awards. Ideally, this should be done like this: MVP's: Joe Smith 7 (2 AL, 5 NL) John Doe 5 (5 NL) Eat Mishorts 4 (3 AL, 1 NL) Cy Youngs: Tony Danza 6 (6 NL) Christopher Lloyd 5 (4 AL, 1 NL) Danny DeVito 5 (5 AL) Gold Gloves: Ted Danson 14 (12 AL, 2 NL) Kelsey Grammer 12 (12 AL) Woody Harrison 10 (8 AL, 2 NL) Priority Medium

Bring back the single game record books. (Most hits in a game, most HR in a game, most K's in a game, etc) Reason It was in the game before v2006 and it sucks that it was taken out. Priority High

The awards section on a players' card should only count awards won in a major league (or at least separate the awards based on league). As of v2007/v8, if a player won 2 MVP's in the minors and 3 more in the majors, the player card shows that the player has won 5 MVP awards. Reason In real life, no one give a crap about what you did in the minors or what awards you won while there. Priority Low

Replace the awards/misc section in league history with the league's fielding report. Reason Fielding reports are a standard report during the year. They should be equally as important in history. Much more important than the number of team awards is being able to look back at the team's fielding percentages, number of double plays, errors, etc... I can't fathom why this is not a part of the historical data in the league reports. It should be basic and not require the almanac to retain it. Priority High

In the "History" section of the reports, under the "Team Index," which lists the year-by-year team record, winning percentage, attendance, etc., it would be good to see the name of the team's manager. Reason This is highly germane data. It is an interesting fact which is relevant in both solo and online leagues. Priority Medium. This is important info which should be on the yearly list. |

In the "History" section of the reports, under "Accomplishments," the listing for "Triple Crowns" only lists batting Triple Crowns, and not pitching TCs. Reason The pitching Triple Crown deserves recognition, just as much as the batting one. Priority Medium. This should be listed. |

Allow some flexibility in the sponsorship of the Baseball America prospects reports. Reason I appreciate that OOTP Developments is partnered with such a reputable publication as Baseball America. It gives the OOTP game authenticity and credibility. Yet it doesn't fit, when leagues aren't based in the United States. I've modded the prospect reports in my Jamaica League to reflect a publication called Baseball Jamaica, but the label "Baseball America" and the initials "BA" linger in many places. Priority Low. |
