MLB Network
Having been addicted to the new MLB network every night of this baseball season, I think it would be cool to have a way to simulate the day, but drop in on each game as a scoring opportunity or some other trigger (which you could customize) occurs. That way, you can get something of a feel for your league, especially if you are simming a large league. I'm not sure the level of effort that this would take, but it would be cool to have this kind of play capability...

interesting request. I think I would actually dig that, as I'm a sim-only guy...but still care about big stats and big comebacks.
...and as a programmer I gotta say something that I say to my clients ALL THE TIME "Sure, it's possible but how much are you gonna pay for it?"

back in the day(6.5 and earlier I believe) OOTP use to have a milestone check box in the simulation options. If you check this box then the while simming the game would stop and "drop in" to any game where there was a no hitter, or a cycle, or a 500th homer that could happen(didn't always have to happen). That was a pretty cool feature and I'm not sure why it was removed...probably just didn't have time to put it in when they redid the engine for 2007.

It is a pretty cool idea. From time-to-time, after simming a day, I'll get an e-mail detailing some event that happened in a game and I'll think "dang, I wish I could have seen that."
So yeah, there's definitely a "market" for this feature.
