Hall of Fame Requirements by Position and Awards Factor

This is not really too important a suggestion... just something I noticed was lacking and thought might be a nice touch, as far as realism is concerned. It would be kinda nice to be able to set the HoF Requirements by position, so that certain positions don't get overlooked when they do great things at their position, but don't necessarily hit the standard requirements. Most common positions this would fit at would probably be C, 2B, SS, etc.

For example, if a Catcher hits 350+ HRs or has 2000 Hits with a .300 average, for example(To allow for those Mike Piazza types). Or, as an another example, if they hit the most career HR at their position at a position not typical for HRs, like a Jeff Kent or Cal Ripken(I know he got 3,000 hits, anyways, but if somewhere to hit more than 345 HRs as a SS and pass him, they should merit consideration).

Another thing that could be factored in, is Awards. Someone could win three or four Cy Young awards or MVPs, or a dozen Gold Gloves... and fall a little short of the regular requirements, either by injury or whatnot, so the other requirement could bump them in. This could account for those Sandy Koufax or Addie Joss types, who dominate the league for a time, but injury or in the case of Joss, death by illness, has them fall short of the regular requirements. It would also account for those players who were some of the greatest defensive players of all time, but maybe not the greatest offensive forces(Like Ozzie Smith or Brooks Robinson, for example). Obviously, might have to put some kind of extra requirement on the GG, as some players in real life have won a ridiculous amount of GG, but are not in the Hall(Jim Kaat and Keith Hernandez come to mind, although I do think Kaat should be there.).

Along that same vein, maybe something to add to the credentials, for things like multiple time batting champs or ERA Crown guys might be also something to look at, but that might take a bit more work and could be added in, after the other things.

Like I said, it's not really a major suggestion, just something I thought might be a cool addition and could make it a bit easier to sort out HoF players, as opposed to having to lower the overall requirement, so these players could somehow fit in.
