ai "shop around" feature?

I think it would be a nice addition if the ai could shop a player around and you could either make an offer(s) or say I'm not interested in this player. This would solve the AI offering the same guy in a 100 different offers issue, and at the same time add a nice feature to the solo-ootp experience

That's a good idea, griff. Puzzling thing about this, and I haven't actually checked X, is that the same player that's usually being pushed is often not on the trading block. If it'd just put him there, at least we'd know they're interested in moving him in a less invasive manner.

I definitely like the "not interested in this player" option.

I completely agree with you...I remember the one franchise I was in, I was offered Russ Springer from the A's atleast 20 times...asking for different people each time.

Is there a good way to shop a "package deal?" There are lots of times I find myself with an extra (but very average) everyday player, and would like to pair him with another average player and see if I could get someone really good out of the deal, but I've only found the option to shop them individually, which doesn't help.

I know that OOTP 9 had this as part of the trade options but it is easy to take advantage of the AI by shopping the player around.
