After seeing how city names are added to logos in X I can see that it's possible for the program to recognize city names and add them to things. This makes me wonder why the same thing can't be done with the jerseys. If the city name or even the nickname was added to the jerseys in-game then there wouldn't be so much need for jersey creation (there would still be a want I'm sure since the game created jerseys would still be simple).

So, make FaceGen add text to the jerseys. I can't imagine it'd be all that hard.

Along these lines, I'm wondering if it would be possible to have the game recognize player numbers, and to designate some character or other to tell the game to display that number on the jersey. Lots of teams have players' numbers on the front of the jersey, and it would be nice to replicate that in the game.

Adding to this, can the default cap logo please NOT be the teams actual logo, but instead be the first initial (or initials) of the teams city or nickname?

Uniform and cap logos would be in whatever font was used for the team logo.

Along these lines perhaps in the picture option screen allow the option for the game to use Team City, Team Nickname, Abbreviation, City Initial, or Nickname Initial for each type of logo (Team, Cap, Uniform), the game would then select at random from the allowed information on the logo.

I feel like this would give the users the ability to control things well enough to get reasonably acceptable logos by default, lessening the need to find mods and the time taken to setup leagues. (In particular this would save time when dealing with minor league logos, as people will still probably go all out for the major league ones)

I'd also second the request for logo commands on each teams screen to generate new logo based on current colors, or to keep logo background, but generate new logo (give you a chance to change text on the logo).
