Some easy online leagues tools?

We need some help with the draft. Its the hardest thing to keep track of in online leagues.

If the commissioner and his helpers are good, its a lot of work for them to run the draft.

If they aren't, its a hell of a lot of work for the GM's to keep up with the draft.

It causes confusion all around especially when the draft is held during the normal season simming and you don't know whether the league is still simming or holding things up for the draft. Its just a lot of work and lots of room for error.

3rd party programs have tried to make it easier, but they have served to add more confusion and headache.

Should a GM have to log into a 3rd party app. to keep up with his team? One that the commissioner might be having problems keeping in order?

No.

There should be one page in the html reports that can be updated from within the game engine...the available rookies (as selections are made).

I hate to bring up head to head, but this would be a very very light version of head to head. I bring this up because maybe the coding has already been worked on for this feature...but I really have no idea because I'm not a programmer.

We need a page of html reports that dynamically updates as draft picks are made. An online html draft center, if you will.

Espn's version of drafts for fantasy sports is a good example. But those are limited to an extremely fast pace and benefited by the lack of traded picks and lots of other options.

If it can't be dynamically and automatically updated (without commissioner input after setting it up) it would be a huge improvement to at least have the game generate reports for what the commissioner needs to post on the website. EVery time he updates the draft it would upload just the reports needed. Draft order, upcoming picks, and available draft pool.

The commish could just load up the game, make the needed picks in the draft utility, or sim ahead if the game could import owners decisions...and then choose an option to only upload needed reports for a draft update.

Done deal. Much headache removed.

This post has many different levels of possibilities for one improvement. I hope it make even the slightest bit of sense.
