Giveway promotions to boost attendance.

I remember playing MLB '05 on my playstation, and they had a way in franchise mode to allocate money for promotions as a way of boosting attendance. If this idea's already been floated, I apologize (didn't find anything via a search, so I thought I'd put it in).

Perhaps this idea could be included in a future version of OOTP as a part of the budget if/when the financial system is overhauled.

This could be done by having a list of items, and you would pick the dates that would have a promotion. A corresponding increase in ticket sales/attendance (and revenue from tickets/concessions/gift shop) would take place on that day, hopefully enough to counter-balance the cost of the promotion.

Might add a touch more realism in the finances aspect for the immersion factor.

Yep, they have this in The Show. You can choose different items like bobbleheads or caps, as well as the amount to give away (with more obviously costing you more).
