Print Option

How 'bout a "Print" option for stats and ratings, so as to make them portable from the computer. Too often some of us find we can't sit for hours in front of a computer, examining statistics and numerical values. If we had the capability to print the stats/ratings we needed, we could transport them anywhere for examination.

The good news is that this can already be done - especially if you are familiar with Excel. Here are the procedures (excerpted from a previous post of mine)...

1. Create customizable 'views' which contain the information that you consider most important, and use that when viewing your players. Don't forget to sort the data by an appropriate column.

2. Turn on this view when looking at your data and select 'Open Report' and then 'Open in External Browser."

3. Lastly, copy & paste the data into a prepared spreadsheet.

A thank you to Ambermonk for enlightening me on this procedure. I'm still feeling my way around, looking into all the nooks and crannies I find in this absolutely hugh, fantastic program. In doing so, I also discovered what the Report button is for after I already posted my uninformed suggestion for OOTP12.

This OOTP community is awesome!

When you hit "write to disk" when saving stats, where are they written too???? for some reason when I try to "open in external browser" for printing my external browser does not open.....

I would love to be able to print standings easier since i cant seem to figure out how to go back and view standings for my custom league unless its in an almanac.
