I've played in an online league for several years...

Recently I received an email from one of my players demanding a trade because he wasn't happy with us losing.

As I was reading this I wish I could have replied to him with a few of my own feelings on his performance...

I signed him just a couple years before this email, from FA. He's a .280+ career hitter and was, at the time, worth the 4 years/35 million $ contract I gave him.

He has done nothing but disappoint since he arrived.

I know this would require some crazy logic coding, but it could also be an evolving thing... similar to PbP scripts... where people can add or edit what's currently in the DB.

Again, would be cool if after getting an email like this, you could reply, then get replied to... back and forth, back and forth... until some kind of conclusion is established.

Slightly expanding this... when negotiating with a players agent, it could also be done this way too... I know, now you'd have to give agents logic too...

Just an idea though...

I love this idea! It's a lot less physical than flipping off the monitor or slapping it with my hand in frustration!

lol yep. Though I'm not sure I'd be very popular if this idea ever happened.
