That isnt the point. I realize the issue with offering arbitration to get compensation.
The point is a lot of times a player that looks like he should be a type A ends up with no compensation. Ive had players hit .310/.400/.550 with 36 HR end up leaving with no compensation. I know Elias bases it on the last 2 seasons but I cant think of a single instance in major league baseball where a player hit like that and wasnt at least a Type B. |
