More Prominence for Jersey Numbers

To improve immersion, I'd like to see jersey numbers somehow used more.

I'd suggest showing the the jersey number on the field display, as an option to replace the on-field player photos.

What about the option to retire numbers for a specific franchise? The retired numbers could be shown somewhere on the team homepage, or in the team history.

this has been on my wish list for years - retired numbers are a big deal in baseball. would love to see this added

Speaking of jersey numbers, I have been wanting them added to the manager and coaches since in the real game they are assigned them as well. One other thought would be to allow you as GM to take certain numbers out of circulation like the Cards have #32 out in memory of Josh Hancock, #51 out for Willie McGee and #57 out in memory of Daryl Kile.

For those of us simming the early history of baseball, there should also be a global option to turn them off/on.

The thing I wish about uniform numbers is that it is NOT made a default selection for the various default screens. Every new version I have to manually go in there and replace 'uniform number' with the more useful 'age'.
