OOTP as a research tool

I've always wanted to use OOTP to study real life stats and systems of MLB organizations.

I'd love to see OOTP at some point have a download feature where you can download updated real-time, real-life stats, career stats, and rosters at any moment.

In a separate league you could update stats and rosters daily and get an up to the minute look at every player, majors and minors, in baseball. It would be an invaluable tool for a lot of people and could also become a tool even major league front offices use.

Im sure a lot of beat reporters, writers, etc. would find that invaluable. To be able to use OOTP, rather than say, baseball-reference.com, to pour over stats. A lot of people in the industry would use it because it's much easier than pouring through websites.

And then to be able to also sim with the stats. You could update the stats and then sim with the new stats.
