Deaths

We have owner deaths. How about player deaths, very rare at that. And have a news story when they pass on after the retirement.

along the same lines...kidnappings during the offseason (winter leagues)? not to make light of the current situation with Ramos...

I was interested around the Addie Joss and Lou Gehrig passings, that idea.

I think that all players should have a random death date. That way if you play 100 seasons you don't have a bunch of retired players in their 120's. If you don't have player deaths, I would like to see players stats and picture freeze at retirement.
