add option to take a big lead or not

Players getting picked off is never 100% preventable nor should it be.

But how about adding these options

1. Take a big lead
2. Stay close to the bag

The default would be the standard lead they take now.

Defending against steals already involves so much micro management of what the pitcher should do....this is extending the micro management to the runners as well. I dunno. Don't like it too much.

It will definitely slow the game down if you intend to use those options a lot, because they would have to go into a combo box above the play by play. All of the numeric key pad numbers from 0-9 for the basic stuff are taken up already. Are you going to have one combo box for each runner so you can tweak all the individual leads?

Low bang for the buck change.
