Real DL in historic play

I apologize if this was brought up before. Now that we have real transactions occuring in historic leagues, can we have when players went on the DL? And also along the same lines, can this feature be used with minor leagues so that players are called up and sent down as they really were?

If the data existed for both of these throughout history, then sure. But the data for the most part isn't available. (And I'll note the technical constraints that the DL did not exist prior to 1941, and options worked completely different in earlier years.)
