Got Shawn Chacon going today against Looper and the cards. Looper is 3-1 while Chacon is 0-0 in 4 starts. But he has only given up 8 runs in 26.0IP, for a 2.77 ERA. Not bad. Catcher JR Towles is quietly having a good year. .510 SLG, not bad for your 8 hole hitter. He's tied for second on the team with 4 jacks.

Wandy Rodriguez has looked pretty good, but hes shelved for a bit now with that groin injury. Should be back shortly. Same with Ty Wigginton. I dont care if he comes back though, I like Blum alot. We need Bourn fully healthy though. His speed is something we missed last year after getting rid of Willy T.

Meanwhile, Jose Valverde is 3-1 but carries an 8.18 ERA, Terrible. Billy Wagner needs to come back

Welcome to last week

After a great little winning streak, the power has gone out again for the Astros. Major bummer, we gotta do better scoring runs.

(ps Born the steal of my fantasy draft, i got him in the last round!)

If Bourn stays healthy, he will be a great asset to any fantasy team. I didn't realize he had as many steals as he did till I looked at the stats the other day.

Question: how does Brocail get the win in this game (Diamondbacks, April 29th)? I understand you need to go 5 to get a win, so Cassel is out. How does Villareal get a HOLD and the guy who come sin after him get teh WIN before Valverde comes in for the 9th and gets the SAVE? THat was a wild pitching line there!

I agree. Byrdak should have had the win, if I remember my baseball rules right. He was the one that took over to finish the 5th. So it should have been him with Brocail with a hold and Val the save.
