I think its fair to say that a loss here effectivly ends Tittenhams chances to finish in the top 4.

I realize there are still 36 matches to play but to pick up 0 points from matches against Sunderland and Everton while the top 4 clubs will likely pick up at least 4 points combined with the fact that Tottenha, has 8 matches against the Big 4 while the Big 4 only play 6.

I watched the first half against Sunderland before I went to Goodison and the second half when I got back and I've watched the frirst half of this game and to be honest they look a top 10 team at best, been very average and missed a few chances specially seeing the forwards they have.

48 mins and Spurs are unlucky not to pull a goal back, great cross by Chimbonda from the right only for Berbatov to hit the upright with Howard beaten.

Too bad Man City's GK is out otherwise I would predict that they would win this match. They have really upgraded their defemse.

They have until Friday to bring someone in so plenty of time, also depends on how much he has to do in the game. I was surprised with Garth Crooks team of the week having Schmeichel in it as I didn't think he had that much to do to be honest.

He's on the bench and sat back on it after half time but don't quote me I think he's gone back into the dressing room, one of the Spurs players made his way back to the dressing room after half time and it did look like Defoe.

Iwas following on eurosport and it said Jol and him were going in the tunnel, presumably so Jol could tear him a new one.

First 10 mins of the second half are bit quieter than the first half but it's to be expected with Everton 3-1 up and Spurs not wanting to let in another which would kill the game.

He must have been giving him orders as Defoe is warming up and getting ready to come on.

62 mins Defoe comes on and replaces Darren Bent who apart from one chance never really did that much, if I was rating him I'd give him an average 7.

Sorry but only while I'm off the next 2 weeks and can't do the Wigan game as I'll be there and trust me I've tried posting with my phone and it would take around 6 months to do the game report

Probably be the game against Harrogate on the 25th as Wigan are away against West Ham, more or less be 100% certain I'll go to their last home game as I went to their first ever game at Hilton Park so be nice to go to their last one there.
