29 mins Brogan cracks a shot from the edge of the penalty box for Rotherham but the Wednesday goalkeeper makes a good save to keep the score 0-0.

Looks like Mr Bababui's tipping skills are as good as mine 34 min free kick from just outside the box is nodded down by Harrison to Derek Holmes who taps it back to Harrison who blasts the ball in from 6 yards out to make it Rotherham 1 - 0.

The Dutch imposters got lucky.

In added on time in the first half Whelan makes it 1-1 as the Wednesday player strikes from 20 yards out and a slight deflection puts it into the net.

Rotherham have been far the better team, Wednesday had the first 10 mins but Rotherham could and should have been up 2 maybe even 3 goals by now.

Just been thinking about the games I've seen in full this season and have to say that only 1 game involving Premiership teams really excited me, while all the games involving teams outside of the Premiership have been good games to watch.

Charity Shield Man United v Chelsea (bored me to death)

League Cup Peterborough United v Southampton (decent game plenty of incident)
League Cup Rotherham United v Sheffield Wednesday (very good game)

Premiership Everton v Wigan Athletic (poor midfield battle)
Premiership Manchester United v Reading (interesting game but not great)
Premiership Tottenham Hotspur v Everton (good 1st 45 mins but very flat second half)
Premiership Wigan Athletic v Middlesbrough (poor game really but great result)
Premiership Chelsea v Birmingham City (very good game)
Premiership Sunderland v Tottenham Hotspur (average game at best but good finish)

Championship Wolverhampton Wanderers v Watford (good game and great finish)

And just seconds later Sheffield Wednesday take the lead when the Rotherham goalkeeper makes a good save only for it to fall to Burton who slots it home from 7 yards, Rotherham 1 - 2 Sheffield Wednesday.

55 mins and Wednesday make it 3-1 with a fluke of a goal from Small, a fully intended cross finds itself curling into the top corner, if someone had watched this game and you'd have told them Sheff Wednesday would be winning 3-1 they'd have taken you away.

58 mins Duncum for Rotherham replaces Todd.

2 minutes left and have to say very unhappy with all the Rotherham fans who are leaving, Rotherham imo were just about the better team but a lack of finishing as cost them and they at least deserved their fans staying to applaud them off.

Final score Rotherham United 1 v 3 Sheffield Wednesday and Mr Bababui don't be coming to me saying you predicted 3-0 to Sheffield as the score was 3-1 and you'd have lost your money so pffft now if you'd come to me saying Sheff Wednesday would win then I'd say the boy done well but you didn't so pffft.

2nd round draw is up soon, top teams not in it yet as teams in Europe don't get put into this round.

Just use spoiler warnings at the top of your posts

Its as easy as that

And I can't help that you live in a nation where its damn near impossible to watch football on TV without playing for it and even things like highlights are milked for profit

But until we can all attain the bababui lifestyle of watching tv for 20 hours a day lets just please use spoiler warnings when talking about life matches

We're all missing what the term spoiler is. It means anything that was revealed before it was originally intended to be released or broadcast. I agree with everyone else, if you don't want to know the results of matches before you watch them, don't read this thread, because we're going to discuss them.
