So, Ebbsfleet are sort of skirting around that area of a team about to fall into a bizarre chasm.

Well, that'll be another loss for Oxford on Saturday then as we do pants against teams who seem to have the odds stacked against them.

Droylesden had never won a conference match before playing us, Rushden hadn't won at home since opening week and only scored 5 goals in those matches and then put 5 past us.

The point being that it would no longer be their tiny club.

Well Paul Jewell turned us down (thank God), he did wonders at Wigan but kind of shoots himself in the foot with some of the things he comes out with. Next up on the list are Steve Bruce, I'd rather have Beckham as manager than Bruce. Joe Royle who slated Wigan when he was Ipswich manager and Paul Ince, Ince doesn't have much pedigree but I'm kind of liking the idea of him being manager, should be able to bring players in with his name and should be able to kick some buttocks of the lazy players we have at Wigan.

Supported Wigan Athletic all my life, spent a small fortune on watching them home and away but if this back stabber of the highest degree becomes Wigan manager I may have to think long and hard on where my loyalty goes in future. I know one man isn't a team but this is the same man who took charge of Wigan a few years back then off loaded a load of players then 5 minutes later left Wigan and went to Crystal Palace leaving Wigan in a **** hole.

Well Steve Bruce is our new manager, very poor choice imo. Love it where Whelan says he left Wigan because Bruce's wife wanted to live in London, if that's the case why did he leave Crystal Palace after 5 minutes and go to manage at Birmingham City, the man as no loyalty at all.

No, simply because I'm not 100% behind them and I know a few feel the same.

I just get sick of the English attitude that England is the centre of the footballing universe despite their severe lack of success at the international level.

And on top of that they always play a very safe very boring style of the game totaly out of line with the quality they put out onto the pitch.
The entire system needs to be redressed

World Cup winners play alot more boring than England and Germany used to be the kings of boring football, not sure who you have spoken to that makes you feel we are "centre of footballing universe" we do underachieve as we still reach quarter finals of major championships despite poor managers playing poor tactics, not being biased but with the talent we have we should have at least reached a major final if not even won a major final in the last few years.

Hopefully if we don't qualify then things will change but highly doubtful as we'll either get stuck with McLaren or get another yes man into the job who'll pick the usual ego players who show no passion at all, if we had half the passion that Scotland have shown in the Euro qualifiers and had a half decent manager then we'd have been packing our bags for the Euros months ago and would be heavy favourites.

But most England fans I know are the exact opposite to what you say and don't feel like the centre of the universe just that we underachieve.

Best place to be if not at the game is at a pub/bar, although the perfect matchday is wake up to a full English breakfast, watch the experts on TV say your team as no chance in todays game then head of to the pub for a couple pints then to the game to watch your team prove the experts wrong. Although the best time you will ever have watching a football match is when you follow your team away, the longer the journey the better and if its a midweek game and it's raining imo thats paradise.

FINLAND!!!

POLAND!!!

If Finland beats Portugal in their home pitch and Poland returns from Belgrade with points, Finland is in the European Cup final, for the first time ever.

FINLAND!!!

POLAND!!!

In related news, a pig just flew by my window.
