any of you native Englishmen know where I can buy a jersey for my favo(u)rite League One side? Their website doesn't have what Im looking for and I'm hoping theres some shop that might sell em that I'm not aware of being in the States.
First thing I'd do if I was in your shoes is write to the club with a bit of a sob story saying you can't get a shirt anywhere stateside, never know your luck and at worst all you loose is the cost of a stamp.

Nope no current tops, try and write to them, say stuff like you've tried to get hold of one of their tops but can't find anywhere that sell's them and tell them why your a fan. I did the same years ago with MLB teams about autographs and got loads of stuff sent to me, well worth a stamp.

ps Throw in you want some autographs and who knows what they'll send seeing it's a lower league team, most Prem teams wont give you the time of day unless your a charity.

Why is Harry Redknapp the favorite to take over from Big Sam? Surely there are better options for a club of Newcastles size.

Newcastle can't defend. A traditional problem. Newcastle also can't score. A serious, significant, problem. Their fans are impatient, so whoever does come will almost certainly face unrealistic expectations given the state of the club.

Bringing in BSA, there was a lot of (clearly meaningless) talk about "patience" and "this will take a few years", but I think whatever will to patience that remained, it was bled off when it became apparent that under BSA, Newcastle of the future would look a lot like Bolton of the past. If nothing else, I think there seems to be an absolute insistence that if/when Newcastle wins, they do it in style.

I'm really not sure about Redknapp. As a Toon supporter, I hope they pick the right guy - I just don't know if there is a "right" guy for this club or its army of supporters.
