Home field advantage in a world cup final was awful to me back when I was -8 and -12. sadface.

First leg of the Champions League First Knockout Round have been completed :
Schalke 1 - 0 Porto Roma 2 - 1 Real Madrid Olympiacos 0 - 0 Chelsea Liverpool 2 - 0 Internazionale Celtic 2 - 3 Barcelona Lyon 1 - 1 Manchester United Fenerbahce 3 - 2 Sevilla Arsenal 0 - 0 A.C. Milan No total surprises with only one away team getting a victory, i'd say Man Utd, Milan, Chelsea and Barcelona are definitely through. Liverpool should make it, with Madrid and Sevilla, and flip a coin for Porto and Schalke. Thoughts anyone? |

Barnsley is mere minutes away from dismissing Chelsea. Although Chelsea is putting considerable pressure on the Barnsley goal late.

Now that's what I call a good FA Cup competition this year...
Portsmouth could be the only Premiership team left in it by the end of tomorrow... The irony would be Cardiff getting through to a final at Wembley when a couple of years ago they'd have just gone down the road and had massive home advantage.

Won nothing, no European experience to talk of apart from once years ago, still on bail on corruption charges, does pick players up on the cheap but most are quality free agents so hardly rocket science. Wouldn't put him anywhere near the best in the world.

Chelsea and Man Utd going out were massive blows for both clubs, you could tell how important it was by the teams they fielded both teams could easily end up winning nothing so the FA Cup was a big chance of silverware.
