Can the Angels Clinch? (Sea 4 back w/ 4 to play)
Everybody in Anaheim already bought playoff tickets after the 9-1 blowout over the M's but...
If the Angels lose on Thurs to Texas and Seattle gets more help from struggling to put the late games away Oakland can the M's do the impossible and sweep the halos in Anaheim?? Hey it could happen but they need a lucky sweep from Texas to even get a shot. Well I thought about the Angels losing their remaining games when they had an 8 game advantage w/ 8 to play needing just 1 vic to clinch a birth in 16 long years when they were once the California Angels and it was funny since I follow the Angels every year and they don't seem to figure out Seattle. Good thing they are at home for the last 3 or else I would actually be worried but Im gonna pray they get the nod to play the Yanks since Seattle couldn't do it maybe they will. One more thing with the best offense and some good pitching just for 1 game would do the trick but will the curse of the Angels past last season history come back to haunt them once again, can it be possible? Are they more cursed than Boston? |

Are they more cursed? Well, none of the Red Sox ever committed suicide over his role in a playoff loss...not even Buckner.

I think the Angels will probably do pretty well.
