Latest rumor on the ESPN Boards is taht Derrick Anderson, Browns QB is in the mix to be traded to the Vikings... for a first rounder. I'd be majorly pissed off if this deal went down.
DA would be nice ,but not for a 1st rounder. Seems like I'd rather have Quinn for a 2nd rounder or something. |

Culpepper and Moss in Minnesota!
For how much I despise Daunte Culpecker, I don't think he is any worse than Tarvaris Jackson. I know it won't happen (especially Daunte), but it's alright for a guy to dream. WR: Moss, Berrian, Rice RB: Peterson, Taylor, Tapeh I'd almost get excited for the new year! Right now, I'm just excited for Peterson since I know that Berrian won't do half what he did without a QB.

Well we got Gus Frerotte now, I'm just hoping they give Jackson the nod at the beginning of the year and if he has problems THEN we go to Gus. Even though I'm sure Gus will have his fair share of problems too leaving us again with no capable QB.

Jared Allen, the NFL's leading sack man is now a Viking. With him and the Williams boys in the middle, our D-Line is going to be amazing.
ESPN - Sources: Chiefs agree to send franchise player Allen to Vikes - NFL

Doesnt get much better for vikings fans than this. I think the Vikings are a RT and a Jackson injury away from being super bowl bound. This defense will be the best in the NFL next year IMO.

I have been an avid supporter of Jackson all of last year, but I'm not sure how far we can get with him this year, we need someone who will lead to us to a super bowl this year, even if they're old and gone next year. Jackson certainly CAN do it, the chances are small but if he's improved on the little flashes of talent we saw last year and Grossman took the Bears to a super bowl, anything can happen.

Read on more than one mock drafts that the Vikes are interested in Texas TE Jermichael Fenley. Played with him in HS, and that guy is a beast. Very athletic.
Would be a good complement to peterson/taylor/berrian etc.
