Separate response due to a differently toned reply. No, silvam, this takes some people to a new low. Most Yankee and Red Sox fans are good, intelligent people, not violent morons.

Probably excessive over-hyperboled reporting to bring the Yankees Red Sox in as a reason. Why would anyone get that worked up about being called a Yankees fan - I didn't realise it was so bad

[slightly lighter note]
I hope they throw the book at her for this. But they'd better not get F********h to do it as it will probably miss by miles

By the way, I have restored one letter to F****w***h based on his recent performances. This is highly subject to immediate revocation, however.

Do we get Chambe*lain now then?

I'm getting an immense groundhog-day feeling about the 2008 season in the AL East - it's like they forgot to change the year from 2007*

* with a few exceptions - ARod isn't storming clear at the top of the home runs chart (and the Yankees are doing the same as they did last year without them)

Yankees are much better then they were a year ago at this time. A famous man once said "What, me worry?"

You and I think alike, rsf. While driving to work this morning, I was just thinking of doing the same thing, and you beat me to it.

How the heck does a guy from England know more about my team's fan base than I do? I think it's a revelation that I run into this guy to discover his identity, then people say "oh, he's been around forever," then you come up with his WEB SITE? (Could be superior Googling techniques on your part, not foreknowledge, however.)

Plus, I heard him clanking on the telecast last night; I don't recall ever hearing him except on the radio. All in all, this has been a bizarre episode.

The way I found it was completely unrelated to your visit to the stadium. We were watching Raiders of the Lost Ark and Indiana Jones is wearing a Yankees baseball cap in the plane at the start (meant to be 1920s or 30s and it had the entwined N and Y on it) and I wasn't sure when the current logo came into existence, so I went to the Wiki page for the New York Yankees, found that the cap was correct and just carried on reading. Just above the section on the Bleacher Creatures is a section on Fan Support with a link to the wiki article for Fred Schuman, which then has a link to his website.

Ian Kennedy rocked in this first Triple A start giving up only one hit, striking out 8, and surrending zero walks.

He's doing exactly what I expected from him in Triple A.

Perhaps we should have an allocation of 12 *'s each to use during the season. All 12 don't have to be used at any time...

I'll have T*m**n, C***y and Sn***r at the moment (that's 9 *'s used)

I would have had Or*iz but his recent run of form has given his 't' back...

That's good to hear. Hopefully, he'll be ready to re-join the rotation soon with some new found confidence.

The amount of stars in this thread is fitting considering it's a New York Yankees thread.

Build up that confidence and get him back here. I half think they should of started him in AAA this year anyway, kind of thought that going in. But with a lack of another 5th starter, i guess they figured it couldn't hurt to have him start the year as the #5.

Kennedy will be fine, I bet he's back for the beginning of June.

Really, that depends on how well Rasner and Igawa do. If both have strong outings, it'll be hard to demote either to make room for him unless someone else gets hurt.
