Anyone watching the intro's right now??? They are playing Star Wars music over the PA system. Hilarious! Nice to see the Yankees org has a sense of humor and living up to the "Evil Empire" tag. Ha!!!

I keep looking at the the batters box and pitching mound, knowing that after this year I will never again see the places where all those great players stood for all those seasons. Unless someday I walk across the street to where there will be historical markers, I guess. Sad.

So true. It is sad indeed. Unless a miracle happens doesn't look like I'll make it to a game this year. All I can hope for is to hit a tour or something this summer or fall to get one last look at the Stadium.

Even though he is a Yankee I have always loved watching his games. Sad as his career is winding down.

Bush league celebration though. To bad he doesn't ever have to bat.

Yeah, he's got to learn to tone that down. The best advice is to "act like you've been there before" so of course you struck the guy out.

Meanwhile, Yanks waste a lead-off triple. Bad.

Well he's got the best teacher in Rivera. Much as I hate seeing him kill us again, he is a class act win or lose.

Pumping your fist after a strikeout with the tying run at second is bush league?

Was Halladay bush league for being upset that he gave up a homerun?

This is just a silly thing to say. He never mocked the hitter. He was excited to get a big strikeout. And it was a big one.

Anyway, good game.

I can see what RichW was saying, though. It's not just a fist pump but a spin around dance and loud bellowing, if the open mouth is any indication. It's over the top, but he's still technically a rookie. He'll learn some etiquette and still keep the fires burning.

If not that, then like I said he will realize that veteran players act like they already know that they're great since they've done it before, so why celebrate so hard? Be cool to look cool.

Unless he's that full of energy and he just can't control it Go Joba! He brings life, can't fault him for that

It's about what I would expect from him this year. He's a #4-5 starter, not a #2. Pettitte's back spasms pushed him up too far in the rotation.
